My whole young adult life I felt I was good and didn't need the gym. If I wanted to loose weight I would diet and the weight would fall off but then I turned 30. 

 

No matter what I did, it seemed like I just kept increasing in weight and unable to loose it as fast. Being that I am a public figure my audience begin to notice and trolls began making horrible comments about my weight. In addition I began to feel tired more often.

 

For those reasons I reached out to Mal and asked him about define yourself fitness. He took time with me and encouraged me to come in and start off simple. I started approx 3 months ago and within the first 3 weeks I dropped 11 lbs and after 2 months I noticed the shape of my body changing. 

 

It was hard for me initially, at times it's still hard, but Mal encourages and pushes me through it. He understands what I can and cannot do. Just when I'm ready to shut down and give up, he asks for that one last effort which proves to me what I am capable of.

 

I still have a long road ahead of me but with define yourself fitness, I am confident I will reach my goals and feel great about my accomplishment.

The Define Yourself Fitness team are very passionate about what they do. It’s not just business with them, as they really care and personally invest in their clients. They are incredibly patient, and honest Fitness Coaches who will push you past what you think you’re capable of. When I started working with them I was over 240 lbs and in the worst shape of my life due to bad eating habits and not being as active as I had been in the past. Ten months later and 60 lbs lighter, we surpassed my fitness goals and I couldn’t be happier with where I am today. Whether it was talking me through the tough training days, changing my meal plan, or switching up workouts to shock my body, their investment in me as a client exceeded my expectations. I still use the invaluable tools I learned from them along the way and their training regimen is now apart of my daily routine as I move forward in my fitness journey. This company has been such an instrumental part of my life, and continues to play a major role in my daily life. That there really aren’t any words to say or show how grateful I am. Not only have Define Yourself Fitness given me a renewed confidence, but they have also given me a new body to go along with it. I've never been one that has had to exercise in my life. I was always happy with my weight until recently, my weight when up to 230 pounds and I wasn’t eating right. I decided to try to get my weight back down, but I wasn’t sure how to do it. I decided to look for a trainer at my local gym and thank god I found Mal. Mal gave me a detailed meal plan and encouraged me to come to the gym. I'll be honest I know I'm not the easiest person to work with when it comes to working out. I give up easily but Mal made sure he was on top of me and pushed me past my limit which is what I needed. As a trainer he has done all that he could do for me at the end it was up to me to push myself to get to my goals. I haven't reached my goal but that’s all on me. I have had a lot of setbacks but I'm thankful that he checks up on me to make sure I'm doing good. I would recommend anyone to get a personal trainer like Mal. He will push you and help you get to your goals but only if you are willing to put in the work.
